Anyone who is successful in their application to join City of London Police, will undergo vetting checks whether they are internal or external candidates. These include proof of right to work, proof of residence, checks of criminal convictions, cautions, warnings, associations and reprimands. These formal vetting checks will only be progressed upon a conditional offer.
